Evening Reflections

The Little Things…

Some evenings don’t need a dramatic sunset to take your breath away. Tonight at Oxford Basin, it was the reflections that stole the show. The soft pink clouds painted the water while the tall palm trees stood quietly, creating a picture that felt almost too peaceful to be real. Even the crescent moon made a gentle appearance, reminding me to keep looking up.

As I stood there, I looked at the little message in my hand:

“It’s the little things that matter the most.”

Isn’t that the truth?

A quiet walk. Flowers blooming along the path. Pink clouds reflected on still water. A sliver of the moon. A moment of silence to simply appreciate where you are.

Those little things may seem ordinary, but together they create an extraordinary life. We don’t have to wait for the big moments to feel grateful. Sometimes happiness is already standing beside us, reflected in the water, waiting for us to notice.

Tonight, Oxford Basin reminded me once again that peace is found in paying attention.

Grateful.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
