Evening Reflections

Something Beautiful Is Making Its Way to You…

Sunset tonight at Oxford Basin felt soft and peaceful, the kind of evening that reminds me how much beauty can fit into an ordinary day.

The sky turned the prettiest shades of pink and peach behind the tall palm trees, their reflections stretching across the water. A baby cormorant floated quietly by while the ducks searched for their dinner, completely absorbed in their little evening routine. Then a beautiful great egret appeared, standing so gracefully in the glowing water.

And tonight’s message felt perfectly placed:

“Consider this your sign: something beautiful is making its way to you.”

Maybe sometimes the beautiful thing isn’t somewhere in the future. Maybe it’s already making its way to us in sunsets, reflections, birds on the water, and those quiet moments that ask us to stop long enough to notice.

Another beautiful day comes to an end, and once again, I’m reminded how much there is to be grateful for.

Goodnight, beautiful world.

I am grateful.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
