Evening Reflections

Finding Joy in the Simple Things…

Tonight’s sunset at Oxford Basin was one of those beautiful reminders that you really don’t need much to feel grateful.

The sky slowly softened into shades of gold, peach, and pink while the palm trees became silhouettes against the last light of the day. Above me, the mysterious moon peeked through the clouds, almost as if it were quietly watching the evening unfold. 🌙✨

Down on the water, three ducks looked like they were racing each other across the basin. I had to smile. It’s those tiny, unexpected moments that make an ordinary evening feel so special.

Tonight’s message couldn’t have been more perfect:

“Find joy in the simple things and life will always be fulfilling.”

A sunset. A crescent moon. Three ducks racing. Palm trees against a painted sky. None of it asks for our attention, but when we stop long enough to notice, there is so much beauty waiting for us.

I’m so grateful that I get to experience moments like this every day.

Another beautiful sunset. Another beautiful day. Another reminder that sometimes the simplest things are the greatest gifts. 💛

Grateful. Always.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
