Evening Reflections

Soft Horizon. Still Heart.

Just a glimpse of sun on the horizon— the kind that whispers rather than shouts. The beach wraps the day like a comforter. Waves tumble with purpose, the air crisp enough for a jacket—my favorite kind of evening. The flock rests tonight. I miss their silhouettes against the fading light, but that absence makes morning reunion all the sweeter. Sunsets arrive whether we notice them or not. Some slip in softly, others blaze with brilliance. Each one carries its own truth. There are so many beautiful things in this life to focus on. So don’t hate—meditate. Take inventory of the good. And let the sky remind you: grace never forgets to show up.

Evening Gratitude Thought

  • The hush of sunset.
  • Jackets in salty air.
  • Mornings still waiting to unfold.
  • Wings tucked beneath the pier.
  • Light that shows up, even softly.
