Evening Reflections
Golden Hour, Winged Witness...
Tonight was beautiful. The rain is on its way—I can feel it in the air, and I can’t wait. The sky was full of dimension. The clouds looked like heaven, layered and glowing, stretching over the pier like a dream. The birds were out, and Pegleg was there, of course. It’s funny how they always know where I’m at. I went down to the beach and saw a bunch of new seagulls—so many colors I hadn’t seen before. And then I noticed one with just one leg. It broke my heart a little. We really have to do better at keeping them safe. There’s so much beauty all around us—and so much responsibility, too. Grateful for the sky, the birds, the pier, the colors, and the quiet reminders to care.
Evening Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for clouds like heaven, Pegleg’s presence, new seagulls in new colors, and the one-legged gull who reminded me why kindness matters.
