Shine Your Own Way…
What a beautiful Sunday morning on the Venice Pier!
The sunshine was absolutely gorgeous, breaking through the clouds and casting golden reflections across the ocean. The water sparkled, and the sky was simply breathtaking.
It was such a clear morning that I could see all the way to the Santa Monica Pier in the distance, with the Ferris wheel and mountains creating a beautiful backdrop.
And then came my favorite part of every morning. My feathered friends! 🕊️
Of course, Pegleg was there to greet me, just like always. The birds were a little spooked this morning, so instead of their usual gathering, they treated me to the most beautiful flybys! Wings soaring overhead, circling through the sky, celebrating my arrival in their own special way.
I don’t think I could ever explain how wonderful that feeling is. To be welcomed by these beautiful little souls every morning is a gift I will never take for granted.
Today’s message felt especially meaningful:
“The right people won’t ask you to dim your light. They will love that you shine in your own way.”
Just like my beautiful birds, we are all meant to shine in our own unique way. We don’t have to be like everyone else to be loved, appreciated, or accepted.
Every morning reminds me that life’s greatest treasures aren’t things. They’re the little moments, the unexpected welcomes, the beauty surrounding us, and the connections that fill our hearts.
I’m so grateful for these beautiful birds, the sunshine, the ocean, and another wonderful day to be alive.
