Evening Reflections

Reflections at Oxford Basin…

Tonight, I walked around Oxford Basin in the marina. The sun was golden—soft and glowing, casting light across the water like a whisper. Ducks were floating by, calm and steady. One of them looked like he was on a real mission, cutting through the reflections with purpose. I love watching the way the water holds their movement—mirroring, stretching, shimmering. A great egret stood nearby, gathered with a few ducks out of the water. Stillness and motion, side by side. There’s nothing quite like ending the day with sunset. I am grateful.

Evening Gratitude Thought:

Grateful for golden light, purposeful ducks, shimmering reflections, and the quiet grace of Oxford Basin at sunset.
