Evening Reflections
Reflections at Dusk…
Sunday evening at Oxford Basin felt like a gentle exhale. I walked slowly, letting the rhythm of the marina settle into my steps. There’s something deeply calming about being close to the water—watching the palm trees sway against the sunset, their silhouettes stretching into the golden sky.The great egret was out, standing still with such grace. Its reflection shimmered on the surface, creating a scene so picturesque it felt like a painting come to life. I’m always grateful for these moments. For the quiet, the beauty, and the way nature reminds me to slow down and simply be. It’s the best way to end the day.
Evening Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for the water’s calm, the palm trees in sunset light, and the great egret’s reflection. Grateful for the peace that lives in stillness and the way it wraps the day in grace.
