Evening Reflections
Reflections and Ripples
Tonight, I wandered the Venice canals. The world felt quieter there—mirrored water holding the last light, soft air pressing gently against the trees. Ducks floated by like little boats. When I tried to photograph them, they sped up, leaving V-shaped ripples like tiny signatures on the surface. It made me laugh. There’s a stillness here that feels sacred. Like the day is bowing out, not with a grand finale, but with grace. And then—sunset. Quiet. Beautiful. Just enough to whisper goodbye.
Evening Gratitude Thought:
- Grateful for reflections that don’t need words.
- For ducks with places to be.
- For canals that hold the color of the sky.
