Evening Reflections
Petals, Reflections, and Feathered Footsteps
Tonight, the Venice Canals glowed in perfect light. Every flower seemed to bloom just for the dusk, reaching softly toward the setting sun.
Two ducks followed me quietly, gliding along like little bodyguards made of feathers. A female duck rested nearby, calling softly—like she was humming for friendship. The water caught it all: colors, shadows, voices, movement. Everything reflected, everything hushed. It was peaceful in that deep, wide way—like the day was giving a final blessing.
Today's Gratitude:
- Grateful for flowers that bloom at twilight.
- For ducks that follow and calls that echo.
- And for canals that cradle the quiet when the world begins to slow.
