Evening Reflections

Petals, Pelicans, and Picture-Perfect Skies

Tonight, the sunset was a watercolor dream—watermelon hues melting into the horizon, framed by blooming plumerias that seemed to blush in the golden light. The pelicans flew past again and again, their silhouettes cutting through the sky like brushstrokes of grace. They always move with such majesty, a quiet unity that feels sacred. I watch them and wonder: where do they go when the light fades? What secret shores do they rest upon? I’m grateful for this ritual—for showing up, for noticing, for letting the beauty of the world imprint itself on my heart. These moments remind me that peace is often found in repetition, in the gentle rhythm of nature’s evening song.

Gratitude tonight:

For plumerias in bloom, for pelicans in flight, for watermelon skies, and for the gift of showing up every day.

Pink sun sets behind pastel clouds as handwritten notes on sticky paper create an ethereal beach scene montage.
