Evening Reflections

Picture Perfect Grace…

Tonight was so beautiful. The sunset felt angelic—soft light spilling across the horizon, casting a golden hush over everything. Low tide revealed the shimmer of the shore, and I found myself just standing there, staring. Pelicans flew by in formation, weaving in and out of a V, gliding low over the water with such elegance. I always marvel at how they do that—so synchronized, so fluid. I’m sure there are mishaps now and then, but I’ve never seen one. And as I walked back to my car, a hawk soared overhead—so still, so steady, he almost looked like a kite suspended in the sky. It was a picture-perfect scene. One of those moments that makes you pause and feel the fullness of life. I’m grateful for these glimpses of grace. For the beauty that shows up when we slow down. For this life, and the way it keeps offering wonder.

Evening Gratitude Thought:

Grateful for angelic skies, pelicans in perfect rhythm, and a hawk gliding like a kite above me. Grateful for the stillness of low tide and the quiet joy of being present.
