Morning Reflections

Pearl and the Promise of a New Day…

Some mornings feel like they were wrapped just for you.

The sunrise slowly climbed over the Venice Pier while the moon refused to say goodbye, hanging quietly above as if it wanted to witness the beginning of another beautiful day. The sky glowed with soft gold and blue, and for a moment, it felt like the whole world was holding its breath.

Then came a plane from somewhere far away, reminding me that every person has a story and every journey has a destination.

A beautiful white pigeon appeared for the first time today. I named her Pearl. She was so striking against the morning light, a little reminder that unexpected beauty often arrives without an invitation.

Far beyond the shoreline, ships rested peacefully on the horizon. Moo greeted me with that familiar smile that always brightens my heart. Then, just as the quote promised, the birds filled the sky with excitement, circling overhead as if they were celebrating the morning together.

Today’s message couldn’t have been more perfect:

“Let your heart remain open to the unexpected beauty that life may bring.”

Pearl. The moon. The sunrise. Moo. The circling birds. Every one of them was a gift.

I left the pier with a heart overflowing with gratitude, reminded once again that beauty isn’t rare. It’s everywhere for those willing to notice.

Forever grateful.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
