Evening Reflections
Other Beautiful Things…
Tonight, the sun stayed hidden behind a blanket of gray, but the evening had its own kind of beauty.
A seagull stood quietly on the rocks while paddle boarders drifted across the calm water. A sailboat passed in front of the flag, moving gently through the harbor. Two pigeons enjoyed the evening together, and a snowy egret carefully walked the shoreline.
Then came one of my favorite moments. An osprey dove down and emerged with a fish, a reminder that nature always has a surprise waiting if we’re paying attention. Nearby, a black-crowned night heron stood watch from the rocks as a small boat made its way across the water.
Sometimes when there isn’t a colorful sunset to capture our attention, we notice all the other beautiful things we might have missed. Tonight was one of those evenings.
“May good things come to you.” 💚
Grateful for hidden beauty, quiet moments, and all the birds that showed up tonight.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
