Morning Reflections
On Schedule with the Universe…
There’s something about a spring equinox morning that feels like a quiet promise. Like the world is gently resetting itself… perfectly balanced between light and dark… and inviting us to do the same.
This morning, the sun rose behind Pegleg as if it had been planned just for him. Of course, he was the first to greet me. He always is. There’s something so comforting about being recognized, about being expected… even by a bird.
A cormorant drifted by, calm and steady, like it had nowhere else to be but exactly where it was. And then came the flurry of wings… my happy pigeons, full of energy, landing on my hands, my arms, even stacking on top of each other like little layers of joy. Their excitement never gets old. If anything, it grows. Just like my gratitude.
It’s funny how something so simple can feel so big.
A surfer caught a wave out in the distance, moving with the rhythm of the ocean, while I stood there thinking how life feels a lot like that… timing, trust, and letting go.
And then, just as I was walking back to my car… there he was. My little furry friend, popping out right on cue like, “Hey… I’m part of this too.”
I smiled. I think he’s officially on the schedule now.
And maybe that’s what this morning reminded me of most…
“The answer is yes. You will get what you prayed for.
Make room for what you love. Be patient.
The universe is moving all the pieces around.”
Everything is already in motion.
Every bird, every wave, every tiny unexpected moment… all arriving exactly when they’re meant to.
And somehow, so am I.
Capturing beauty, sharing light
