Morning Reflections
Not Too Busy to See…
This morning felt like a promise kept. Pegleg was the first to greet me, right on schedule, waiting like he always does. It makes me smile how steady he is, as if the sunrise itself sends him out ahead of time to say hello. And today, he brought friends. A bunch of new seagulls joined him, as if word had traveled overnight: “She’ll be there.”
The pigeons were their joyful selves, bouncing and fluttering with that excitement that somehow grows more every day. I don’t know how they manage it, but they do. Their happiness feels contagious, like they’re reminding me that joy is something you practice, not something you wait for.
The sky was especially beautiful today. Soft clouds caught the sunrise and turned it into a painting, glowing in gentle layers of light. It’s amazing how every morning looks different, and yet every morning feels familiar. This ritual of showing up, looking around, and being present keeps giving me more than I expect.
I love these mornings. I look forward to them with my whole heart. They steady me. They fill me. They remind me how lucky I am to be part of this small daily miracle with wings and clouds and light.
I held up my little message today, and it felt like the whole scene answered back: “May your day be full of magic, and may you not be too busy to see it.” Today, I wasn’t too busy. And the magic found me right on time.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.

Morning Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for Pegleg’s faithful hello, for new seagulls finding their way, for pigeons growing happier by the day, and for a sky that keeps teaching me how to notice beauty. May my day be full of magic, and may I not be too busy to see it.
