Morning Reflections
Because I Showed Up…
There is something about low tide that feels like a quiet invitation. The ocean pulls back just enough to reveal a little more of its beauty—soft reflections, smooth sand, and that peaceful stillness that only exists early in the morning.
Today felt like one of those mornings that was meant just for me… simply because I showed up.
A happy dog ran down the shoreline, completely free, completely in the moment. It made me smile—pure joy doesn’t need a reason.
Scooter was waiting for me on the railing, right on cue. And then she did her little moonwalk, like she always does, her own unique way of moving through the world. It never gets old. I love how excited she is to see me, and the feeling is mutual.
Pegleg made sure to check in, standing proud as ever. Domino came when I called her—she always does—and Honey Girl was ready, eager as ever for her peanuts. And sweet Clubbie, balancing beautifully on her one little foot, joined in too. Every single one of them showed up in their own way.
And then there was my message which fit perfectly with this beautiful morning and the beautiful artwork in the sand:
“Your creations are beautiful because they reflect your unique journey and the authenticity of your truth.”
It stopped me for a moment. Because that’s exactly what this is. These mornings. These connections. This simple act of showing up.
Nothing forced. Nothing perfect. Just real.
And somehow… that’s where the beauty lives.
Grateful for mornings like this. Always.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
