Moonlight, Ducklings & Gratitude…
Tonight’s walk along Ballona Creek felt like a little gift wrapped in moonlight.
The sunset painted the sky in soft colors as the moon quietly rose above. A coot wandered slowly along the water’s edge, completely unbothered by the world around it. As I turned back to look beneath the bridge, I spotted something that instantly made me smile: a mama duck surrounded by her tiny ducklings, tucked safely together.
Moments like these remind me that there is beauty everywhere when we slow down enough to notice it.
The moon above, the peaceful water below, the little coot taking its time, and a family of ducks ending their day together. Simple moments, yet somehow, they fill my heart in the biggest way.
Grateful for another sunset.
Grateful for another walk.
Grateful for the reminders that life is beautiful.
