Evening Reflections
The Beauty That Stays…
June in Southern California may not bring dramatic sunsets every evening, but it has a way of revealing the quieter gifts. Tonight, bright pink flowers painted the path with color against the soft gray sky. A duck drifted through the water with purpose, as if it had somewhere important to be. Two crows lingered together, keeping each other company, while a little coot bobbed its head and left gentle ripples behind.
Sometimes the beauty isn’t in what stands out. It’s in what slows us down enough to notice.
Tonight’s message felt especially fitting:
“There is a new beginning at every turn.”
Maybe that’s the gift of June gloom. It encourages us to look a little closer and discover that beauty was there all along.
Grateful for flowers, feathers, quiet water, and new beginnings. 💗
Capturing beauty, sharing light.

Gratitude Reflection:
Not every beautiful evening arrives wrapped in color. Some arrive wrapped in stillness, asking us to notice the small wonders that were waiting for us all along.
