Morning Reflections

Messages in the Morning Sky…

This morning felt like a quiet conversation with the universe.

The sky was layered in soft grays and light, like it was deciding how it wanted to show up today. And right on time, Pegleg was there to greet me—steady, familiar, like a promise kept without words.

Honey Girl found her favorite spot, ready and excited, her little energy lighting up the moment. The pigeons lined up along the rail like they were waiting for roll call, each one bringing their own personality, their own presence. There’s something so beautiful about how they show up fully, every single day.

And the waves… they were big today. Crashing with power, rolling in like they had something important to say. The kind of sound you don’t just hear—you feel it in your chest.

Then I looked up.

That sky.

It didn’t need to be perfect to be breathtaking. It just was. And somehow, that made it even more beautiful.

It reminded me of something I held in my hand this morning:

“Messengers of the universe speak to us in the simple moments.”

And they really do.

In a bird that remembers you.

In the rhythm of the ocean.

In the way the sky opens up just enough to let the light through.

These moments are always there… waiting for us to notice.

Grateful for this morning.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
