Evening Reflections
Making Room for What’s on the Way…
Tonight’s sunset along the Ballona Creek Bike Path was such a beautiful way to end the day. There was something so peaceful about watching the light slowly fade while little pops of color seemed to appear everywhere. The bright bougainvillea looked especially beautiful against the soft evening sky.
As I walked, I looked up and saw the seagulls flying overhead, heading back toward the beach for the night. I love watching nature move through its rhythms so effortlessly. The birds know where they’re going, the sun knows when to set, and the flowers simply bloom where they are planted.
Tonight’s message felt perfect:
“Start making room for what you prayed for because it is on the way.”
Sometimes we spend so much time wondering when something will happen that we forget to prepare our hearts and our lives to receive it. Maybe faith is making room before we can see what’s coming. Trusting that something beautiful can already be making its way toward us.
Tonight was another reminder that beauty doesn’t have to be loud. Sometimes it’s a splash of pink flowers, a quiet path, birds flying home, and the last glow of daylight.
So grateful for another beautiful day and another sunset that reminded me to keep believing, keep looking up, and keep making room for all that is on the way.
Grateful. Always.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
