Morning Reflections
Magnet for Miracles…
What a beautiful way to begin a Monday.
The sunrise over the pier was absolutely perfect this morning. Golden light slipped through the clouds and stretched across the water, reminding me that sometimes the most beautiful moments are waiting for us before the day has even really begun.
Pegleg came down to greet me, and the birds were already lined up along the railing waiting for breakfast. Pegleg and Alexander made sure I knew they were ready too. I love how they each have their own little way of getting my attention.
Down on the beach, there was a completely different kind of excitement. A big group of seniors were celebrating their first day of school, laughing and jumping off the pier into the ocean. Watching them made me think about beginnings and how many possibilities can be tucked inside a brand-new day, a brand-new school year, or simply a brand-new Monday.
And of course, Honey Girl couldn’t let the morning go by without making her entrance. She came up from behind, eager for her peanuts, just as I expected. 💕
This morning’s message felt especially perfect:
“I am a magnet for miracles.”
Maybe miracles aren’t always enormous things that change our lives overnight. Maybe they’re golden sunrises, familiar wings waiting for us, laughter floating up from the beach, and little friends who somehow know exactly where to find us.
A beautiful sunrise.
A pier full of life.
A new week beginning.
And so much to be grateful for.
Happy Monday. Here’s to noticing all the little miracles already making their way toward us.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
