Morning Reflections
Look For the Good…
Some mornings the sky doesn’t need bright colors to be beautiful. Today, soft gray clouds stretched over the ocean while the pier came alive with the sound of wings. If you’ve never been welcomed by hundreds of birds, it’s hard to describe the feeling. It’s pure joy. They don’t care what kind of day you’ve had. They simply arrive with excitement, trust, and love.
Domino came when I called her, Pearl blended right into the flock, Adonis stood watch high above and Pegleg made sure he didn’t miss his peanuts before I left. Every one of them reminds me that kindness matters, especially toward the creatures who share this world with us. They deserve more compassion than they often receive.
Today’s little reminder says it perfectly:
“Look for the good in everyday, everything and everyone.”
When we do, we begin to notice that the good has been there all along.
