Morning Reflections

Little Moments of Magic on the Venice Pier…

What a beautiful way to begin another day!

The waves were crashing along the shoreline as the morning sky slowly came alive with soft, beautiful colors. The sunrise was absolutely breathtaking, casting a golden glow across the ocean. It was one of those mornings when you just want to stop and take it all in.

And then, of course, came my favorite part of the morning!

Pegleg was the first to greet me, followed by Crybaby. Before I knew it, here came the wings! 🕊️

I held out my hand, and suddenly my beautiful feathered friends came flying in from every direction. So much excitement, so much energy, and so much joy! There is nothing quite like being welcomed by a sky full of wings.

And then there was Honey Girl! ❤️

Just like always, she made her special entrance from behind. She has her own little way of making sure I know she’s there, and it makes me smile every single time.

As I watched the birds celebrating another beautiful morning, I couldn’t help but think about how much happiness these little moments bring into my life.

Sometimes the greatest gifts aren’t things at all. They’re the familiar faces, the unexpected greetings, the sound of the waves, the warmth of the rising sun, and the beautiful creatures who make ordinary mornings feel extraordinary.

“Maybe it was never meant to be about the big things. Maybe it’s about the little moments that feel like magic and make us smile.” ✨

That’s exactly what these mornings are to me. Little moments of magic that continue to fill my heart with gratitude.

I’m so thankful for another beautiful sunrise, another day with my feathered friends, and another opportunity to appreciate the beauty all around me.

Life is beautiful when we take the time to notice.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
