Morning Reflections

Let Life Love Me Loudly…

What a beautiful Monday morning.

The sky was filled with dramatic gray clouds, the waves were crashing along the shoreline, and you could see the rain falling in the distance over the ocean. A storm was on its way, but there was something so peaceful and beautiful about it all.

And then came my favorite part of the morning.

Here come the wings!

It’s hard to put into words what I feel when I see my little feathered friends flying toward me. Their excitement, their trust, and the way they recognize me make my heart so happy. It’s truly one of the most special feelings I’ve ever experienced.

Pegleg was there to greet me, and sweet Angel now knows her name! That makes me smile because building trust with these beautiful little souls takes time, patience, and love.

The birds lined up along the railing, waiting for their turn. And before I knew it, they were piling on top of my hand, wings fluttering everywhere, each one eager to say hello!

Sometimes I wonder if they have any idea how much happiness they bring into my life.

This morning’s message was:

“I let life love me loudly.”

And standing there with wings fluttering all around me, I couldn’t think of a more perfect way to experience those words.

Life doesn’t always show us love through grand gestures. Sometimes it comes through the smallest moments, a familiar little face, a bird that remembers you, the sound of the ocean, or a sky filled with beautiful storm clouds.

And sometimes love arrives loudly, with dozens of wings and little feet competing for a place in your hand!

The weather may have been gray, but my heart was filled with sunshine.

Another beautiful morning, another reminder of how much there is to appreciate when we take the time to notice.

Forever grateful for these little souls, the beauty of nature, and the privilege of experiencing another day.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
