Morning Reflections
Joy Arriving from Every Direction…
This morning felt like joy arriving from every direction.
The pigeons came flying in before I even settled in—leaping, jumping, landing right on top of my phone like it was part of the game. Wings everywhere, soft coos, happy chaos. They weren’t cautious or hesitant. They were fully in it, having the best time, trusting the moment completely.
Honey Girl was right where she always is, calm and glowing, her sweet presence grounding everything. Clubby stood proudly in her usual spot, steady and strong, watching it all unfold. I love how they each have their place, their rhythm, their way of being—yet together they create this beautiful, joyful swirl.
Moments like this remind me that happiness doesn’t need to be complicated. It shows up when you’re present. When you’re consistent. When you make space for connection. These birds don’t hold back their joy—and every morning they teach me not to either. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Morning Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for joy that comes freely, for wings that trust, and for small moments that feel like magic.
