Morning Reflections
Happy Birds, Happy Life…
This morning felt like a love letter from the sky. A perfectly clear day, the kind that makes you pause and think, we really do have the best weather in the country. The ocean shimmered, the pier stretched out into the blue, and the birds came flying in from every direction like they were answering a roll call only they could hear.
It’s impossible not to feel good when I see them. Truly. They show up with their wings wide open, full of joy, full of motion, full of life. And just like that, something chemical and magical happens inside me — an instant boost of serotonin. Nature’s prescription, delivered on feathers.
What makes it even better is watching other people smile too. Someone walking by slows down. Someone else looks up. Someone laughs when a bird swoops past. Joy becomes contagious.
Today’s message said: “One day you’ll tell the story of how you never gave up. Just keep going.” And somehow the birds felt like they were living proof of that. They don’t overthink the wind. They don’t question the sky. They just fly.
Happy birds really do equal a happy life. They remind me that blessings don’t always come wrapped in big moments — sometimes they arrive as wings in motion, sunlight on water, and the simple gift of feeling good right now. I’m so blessed to walk with them, witness them, and share this joy with whoever happens to pass by.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.

Morning Gratitude Thought:
Happy birds flying in from every direction, a clear blue sky, and sunshine on the water. It’s impossible not to feel good when they arrive — like an instant boost of joy for the soul. Happy birds truly do equal a happy life, and I’m so grateful to share this sky with them today.
