Evening Reflections

Great Things Are Coming…

Tonight felt like one of those evenings when the sky quietly reminds you that life is always changing.

Out here beneath the wide-open Texas sky, the road seemed to disappear straight into the sunset. Fence posts stretched toward the horizon, telephone poles lined the country road, and even the silhouette of an oil pump looked beautiful against the soft pink and orange sky.

There is something about these wide-open spaces that gives you room to think. Room to release what no longer belongs. Room to dream about what might be waiting just beyond the horizon.

Tonight’s message felt especially fitting:

“Old energy is clearing. New energy is entering. Great things are coming.”

Sometimes we hold onto old chapters simply because they’re familiar. But maybe we don’t have to know exactly what the next chapter looks like. Maybe we just need to keep moving forward, trusting that God is already preparing things we cannot see yet.

As I watched the last fiery glow settle along the horizon, I felt grateful for where I’ve been, grateful for where I am, and genuinely excited about where I’m going.

There is still so much life ahead. So many roads I haven’t traveled. So many sunsets I haven’t seen. So many beautiful moments I don’t even know are coming yet.

Tonight, I’m leaving a little old energy behind on this Texas dirt road.

Great things are coming. I believe that.

Always grateful. 🤍

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
