Evening Reflections
A Simple Life Is a Beautiful Life…
Tonight felt like the perfect picture of peace.
A quiet country road stretched out beneath a beautiful Texas sky, with nothing but wide-open spaces, fences, fields and telephone poles disappearing into the distance. The clouds caught the last soft pinks and oranges of the day, and even a plane passing high overhead became part of the view.
There was nothing complicated about it. And maybe that’s exactly what made it so beautiful.
“A simple life is a beautiful life.”
How blessed are we that God gave us nature? Sunsets that paint the horizon, clouds that change by the minute, endless skies and little moments of beauty that cost us absolutely nothing.
Nature never asks us for much. All it asks is that we notice.
Tonight, I did. I watched the sun disappear along a country road and felt grateful for another day, another sunset and another reminder that some of life’s greatest gifts are also its simplest.
Always grateful.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
