Evening Reflections
Goodbye, September…
Tonight’s Texas sunset felt like the perfect way to say goodbye to September.
After yesterday’s rain, there was water everywhere, turning the wide-open fields into mirrors. The clouds caught the last light of the day in beautiful shades of gold, orange, pink, and lavender, and their reflections seemed to create a second sunset beneath them.
I loved the silhouettes of the trees against the sky, the long country road stretching toward the horizon, and those endless Texas views. There is something so peaceful about being surrounded by this much open space. Nothing competing for your attention, just the sky putting on its evening show.
As the light slowly disappeared, I held up tonight’s message:
“Goodbye September. Thanks for the memories.”
And what a beautiful reminder that was. Another month of sunsets, sunrises, birds, unexpected moments, lessons, laughter, and memories that I get to carry with me.
Tomorrow begins a brand-new month, but tonight I’m simply thankful for everything September gave me.
Grateful. Always.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
