Morning Reflections

Gratitude Multiplies…

What a beautiful morning to be alive!

I absolutely love when the sky looks like ombré, with the softest shades of pink and blue blending together. It’s one of those little gifts from nature that makes me stop and appreciate just how beautiful our world really is.

The ocean was gorgeous this morning, and I watched Jay ride a wave in. There’s something so peaceful about watching the waves roll toward shore as the morning light slowly changes.

And then came my favorite part of the morning.

Here come the birds! 🕊️

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully describe the feeling I get when they realize I’m there. One moment, I’m looking out at the ocean, and the next, wings are flying toward me from every direction.

They know I’m there! And somehow, that feeling just keeps getting better.

Honey Girl made her usual sneak attack from behind. She always makes me smile! Pegleg was there to greet me, and before I knew it, the birds were lining up along the railing.

And, of course, my little buddy wasn’t about to be forgotten. He hopped right into my bag, just to make sure I saw him! That little one-footed sweetheart has such a big personality.

Looking at all of them lined up together, I couldn’t help but think about how much our little family has grown.

Just like gratitude, they keep multiplying!

What started as a simple love for nature has turned into something so much more meaningful. These little birds have taught me about trust, patience, resilience, and the beauty of showing up with love every single day.

And the more I appreciate them, the more beautiful these mornings become.

“Gratitude transforms your vision.”

It’s so true. When you look at life through grateful eyes, you begin to notice blessings everywhere. In the colors of the sky, the sound of the waves, the flutter of tiny wings, and the little souls who recognize you as their friend.

I never take these moments for granted.

Another beautiful morning, another sky full of wings, and another reminder of just how much there is to be grateful for.

Grateful for my life. Grateful for my feathered friends. Grateful for another beautiful day.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
