Morning Reflections

Flying Toward Me…

There’s something about mornings like this that feel almost too beautiful to explain… but somehow, they explain everything.

The sky was wide and open, brushed in soft blues, and the ocean was gently rolling in like it had nowhere else to be. And just like always… the birds came.

They don’t hesitate. They don’t question. They just fly toward me.

Pigeons lined the railing like they were waiting for roll call, each one with their own little personality, their own story. And right on time, Domino came down when I called her — steady, loyal, just like she always is. Honey Girl wasn’t far behind, making sure she got her peanuts, full of excitement and trust.

That kind of trust… it never gets old.

Out in the water, someone was catching a wave — perfectly timed, perfectly placed — like a reminder that life is always moving, always flowing, always offering us something if we’re willing to show up for it.

And in that moment, everything just clicked into place.

Everything is unfolding in perfect timing.

I trust. I believe. I receive.

Not because everything is perfect… but because it’s all happening exactly as it’s meant to.

The birds don’t overthink it. The ocean doesn’t rush it. The waves don’t miss their moment.

And maybe we’re not meant to either.

So I stood there, surrounded by wings and water and quiet joy… just receiving it all.

Grateful for another morning.

Grateful that I showed up.

Grateful that life keeps meeting me right where I am.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
