Morning Reflections

First Morning of March…

Today felt like March opening the door softly. The sun was already high when I walked onto the pier, golden and warm, the water calm like it had nothing urgent to say. There were more people than usual, so the pigeons stayed scattered, giving the morning a different rhythm. I’ve learned that even when the familiar pieces shift, beauty still shows up right on time.

A sea lion surfaced near the fishermen, watching carefully, taking the easy route to breakfast. No rush. Just patience and trust that what’s meant for him will come close enough. I loved that energy.

And then came a little gift from the universe, a new face on the water. A red-breasted merganser, gliding along like he belonged to the morning all along. I smiled thinking how every walk has something new waiting if I slow down enough to notice.

I held my message in my hand that said, “March is bringing healing energy, clarity, abundance, good health, and good vibes.” Standing there between the sunshine and the ocean, it didn’t feel like a wish. It felt like a quiet truth already unfolding.

Gratitude today for curiosity. For new sightings. For the calm confidence of a sea lion, the surprise of a new bird, and the reminder that every month begins with possibility.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
