Evening Reflections
Exactly Where I Belong…
Tonight’s sunset was another beautiful reminder of just how lucky we are to be alive.
The sky was painted in the most incredible shades of pink, coral, and orange. The waves rolled toward the shore, the ocean reflected the colors above, and just when I thought the evening couldn’t get any more beautiful, dolphins appeared in the water.
What a gift!
I stood there taking it all in, listening to the waves crashing and watching the colors slowly change. There is something so special about witnessing a sunset. No two are ever exactly alike, and each one reminds us that beauty is all around us if we simply take the time to notice.
Tonight’s quote felt especially meaningful:
“The universe has a way of placing me exactly where I belong.”
And tonight, that was exactly how I felt.
Standing beside the ocean, watching dolphins swim beneath a pink sky, I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful place to be in that moment.
Sometimes we get so caught up in everything we need to do, everywhere we need to go, and everything we hope to accomplish that we forget what an incredible privilege it is simply to be here.
To feel the ocean breeze. To hear the waves. To watch the sky turn pink. To witness the beauty of another day coming to an end.
These are some of the most beautiful things about being alive, and they don’t cost a thing.
How lucky are we that we get to experience sunsets?
Another day, another beautiful reminder that life itself is a gift.
Tonight, I was exactly where I was supposed to be.
