Morning Reflections

Every Chance to Love…

This morning was one of those rare, perfect mornings that feels like a gift before you even unwrap it. The sun was warm, the sky was wide and blue, and the ocean looked like it was smiling back at me. Surfers were lined up in the water, patiently waiting for the right wave, floating in that peaceful space between effort and trust.

I held up my little message to the sea: “Let us welcome February and take every chance to show love to everyone we meet.” And somehow, it felt like the ocean nodded in agreement.

Then Pegleg spotted me. From up above, he flew straight down like he had a reservation. One by one, the birds rushed in to greet me, wings fluttering, eyes bright, hearts wide open. It always amazes me how they come running. Or flying. As if love has a sound only they can hear.

In moments like this, I don’t feel alone at all. I feel chosen. I feel known. I feel wrapped in something gentle and generous. The birds, the surfers, the sunlight, the waves all moving in their own rhythms but somehow sharing the same song.

Today reminded me that love doesn’t have to be loud. Sometimes it looks like a bird recognizing you. Sometimes it sounds like waves breathing. Sometimes it feels like holding up a small message and realizing the whole world is answering back. I feel so loved. I feel so blessed. And I will take every chance to pass that love on.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.

Morning Gratitude Thought:

This morning, I am grateful for sunshine, waiting surfers, and birds that rush in to greet me. For moments that remind me I am loved, seen, and blessed. Today I choose to take every chance to show love to everyone I meet.
