Evening Reflections
Even in the Fog, the Light Knows the Way…
Tonight felt like stepping into a dream I didn’t need to understand… only to feel.
Venice Beach was wrapped in the softest fog, the kind that quiets everything—sound, color, even thoughts. The palm trees stood like silhouettes in a painting, and the pier lights glowed like little lanterns guiding the way through the unknown.
There’s something magical about not being able to see very far ahead.
The waves kept crashing under the pier, steady and certain, like they didn’t need visibility to know what to do. And along the shoreline, the sanderlings ran back and forth with their tiny, fearless steps—never hesitating, never doubting. Just moving forward, trusting the rhythm of the tide.
That’s when it hit me…
“Even if you can’t see your destination, doesn’t mean you’re not on the right path.”
Sometimes life feels exactly like tonight—foggy, uncertain, a little mysterious. But maybe that’s not something to resist. Maybe it’s something to lean into.
Because even when we can’t see the full picture, there are always little lights guiding us…
A feeling.
A moment.
A familiar rhythm.
And just when I thought I had missed him this morning…
Pegleg found me.
Right on cue. Right on time.
As if to remind me—nothing meant for you ever truly misses you.
Tonight wasn’t about clarity.
It was about trust.
And somehow, that felt even more beautiful.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
