Morning Reflections

Don’t Forget the Pigeons…

Such a beautiful morning. The air was crisp and clean from the rain, and you could see things you couldn’t see yesterday. The sun was rising, and there was a chill in the air—that unmistakable feeling that Autumn is here. And today, I figured out something wild: there are two Peglegs. I thought I was seeing things. But no—two birds, both with that same determined stance. The pigeons were as happy as ever, puffed up and glowing. Domino came in full force, as always. She definitely didn’t look happy yesterday in the rain, but today she was back to herself. Honey Girl landed on my shoulder, and Clubby balanced on top of my phone. They’re all just so sweet. Their personalities come out more every day—little quirks, little habits, little ways of saying “I see you.” My quote today was: Be as good to as many people as possible… and don’t forget pigeons! Grateful for the clarity, the chill, the birds, and the joy of noticing more.

Morning Gratitude Thought:

Grateful for crisp air, two Peglegs, Domino’s comeback, Honey Girl’s shoulder love, and Clubby’s balance. And yes—don’t forget pigeons.
