Evening Reflections
Committed Under Gray Skies…
Not every beautiful evening arrives painted in bright oranges and pinks. Sometimes it comes wrapped in soft gray clouds, still water, and the silhouettes of palm trees standing quietly against the sky.
Tonight was one of those evenings.
No sun peeked through the clouds, yet the peacefulness of Oxford Basin felt complete. The water reflected the fading light, the palms stood like gentle sentinels, and the winding paths invited me to slow down and simply be present.
I’ve learned that gratitude isn’t reserved for spectacular sunsets. It’s found in the commitment to show up, even when the sky looks ordinary. Some of life’s most meaningful moments arrive without fanfare.
Tonight’s reminder:
“Blessed. Happy. Determined. Grateful.”
And always grateful.
