Evening Reflections
Color Beneath the Gray
Venice’s sunset came dressed in concrete and color—graffiti walls glowing, skate wheels spinning, and joy defying gravity. Tonight, I wandered to the Venice graffiti walls and skate park for sunset. The sky was gray, but somehow that made the colors pop even more—like the art was speaking louder against the quiet. The skaters were full of life, carving joy into the pavement. One guy did a handstand on his skateboard while rolling—it was wild, impressive, and oddly graceful. There’s something contagious about their freedom. It made me smile just watching.
Evening Gratitude Thought
Grateful for color that shines through gray, for movement that defies stillness, and for the art of joy in motion.
