Morning Reflections

Circles of Grace…

This morning felt like a quiet miracle unfolding step by step. Pegleg followed me all the way down the pier again. Not rushing. Not hovering. Just choosing to stay near, as if he was making sure I didn’t miss the beauty of the moment. I love how he looks for me. How he always seems to know where I am before I even arrive.

As I walked, the birds began to circle, one by one, then many. Wings cutting through the blue sky, flying toward me with trust and joy. It never gets old. Every time it happens, it feels like a blessing I didn’t earn but was given anyway.

I thought about the quote I was holding in my hand: “You can do all the big scary things that your mind says no to, but your heart flutters at.”

That’s exactly what these mornings teach me. To trust what flutters. To listen to the quiet yes inside. To keep showing up even when life feels uncertain, because love always meets me here.

These birds don’t hesitate. They don’t overthink. They simply come. And in doing so, they remind me to do the same.

I walked the pier feeling surrounded, supported, and deeply grateful. Faith with wings. Love in motion. Grace circling back to me again and again.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.

This morning, I choose what makes my heart flutter. I trust the quiet yes. I am surrounded by love, guided by grace, and deeply blessed.
