Evening Reflections
Christmas Reflections at Santa Monica Pier — Low Tide, High Gratitude…
The Christmas sunset at the Santa Monica Pier tonight was nothing short of magic. The tide pulled back just enough to reveal a glassy canvas of color beneath my feet. The Pacific shimmered like a living kaleidoscope — ferris wheel lights swirling in the low-tide mirror, glowing brighter in the quiet between the waves.
Above it all, the moon hung like a gentle lantern in the sky, a reminder that light doesn’t need to shout to be felt. The pier stood steady on its wooden pillars, timeless and unshaken, guiding both the sea and the stories it reflects.
This is why I love the ocean — it reflects back more than images. It reflects peace. Presence. Perspective. Tonight, it reminded me that gratitude isn’t found in grand moments… it’s found when we notice them. The world softened at dusk, and so did my heart.

Capturing Beauty, Sharing Light
Evening Gratitude Thought:
Low tide shows the colors beneath the surface. Stillness shows the colors within ourselves. Tonight, the ocean held both. Grateful for the beauty. Grateful for the reflection. Grateful just to be here.
