Evening Reflections

From Golden Light to Neon Joy…

There are sunsets… and then there are the ones that feel like a full celebration.

Tonight, in Santa Monica was one of those.

The sky opened in soft gold, like it was pouring light directly into the ocean. The water held onto it, reflecting every shimmer back as if it didn’t want to let go. Birds moved across the shoreline, their reflections dancing beside them like quiet companions. It felt like watching poetry in motion.

Under the pier, everything shifted. The light turned deeper, more mysterious. Golden streaks slipped through the wooden beams, catching the movement of the water below. It’s always one of my favorite places… where the world feels still, but alive at the same time.

And then the color came.

Hot pink clouds stretched behind the pier like a painted sky that didn’t want the day to end. The Ferris wheel lit up, and suddenly the sand became a canvas of reflections—colors spinning, shimmering, reminding me how much beauty can exist in a single moment.

And just when I thought the night had given everything…

Joy rolled in.

As I was walking back to my car, the Venice Electric Light Parade passed by—bikes and skates glowing in every color, people laughing, moving, celebrating life in the most simple and beautiful way. It felt like the perfect ending… or maybe the perfect continuation.

Because that’s what today felt like.

A reminder.

✨ Be egg-cited… you were born! ✨

Life doesn’t have to be complicated to be extraordinary. Sometimes it’s just about being there… watching the light, feeling the moment, and letting joy find you.

Grateful for days like this.

Grateful I showed up.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
