Morning Reflections
Boldly Be Yourself…
This morning felt like a page dipped in gold. The sun rose gently over the shoreline, lighting up the water in that soft, peaceful way that instantly settles the heart. The birds were already awake and joyful, their energy impossible to ignore. It’s one of those mornings where you don’t have to search for gratitude, it finds you first.
Honey Girl made her appearance right on cue, confidently requesting her peanuts as if she were the official welcoming committee. She has such a sweet spirit and always makes me smile the moment I see her.
The baby girl is growing so quickly. Every day she seems a little braver, a little more curious, and even sweeter than the day before. Watching her explore the world reminds me how beautiful growth really is.
And then there’s Clubby. Standing there on her one strong foot, calm and steady, she radiates resilience. She is absolutely beautiful in her own unique way. Nothing about her is less. If anything, her strength shines even brighter.
As I stood there surrounded by all of them, it hit me again how different each bird is. Different personalities, different behaviors, different paths — yet every one of them belongs exactly as they are. Just like us. The message I held this morning said: “Boldly be yourself. There is no one else like you." Sometimes nature says the same thing without words.
Each bird showed me that uniqueness isn’t something to hide. It’s something to celebrate. The world would be quieter, less colorful, less alive if they were all the same. And the same is true for us.
This morning was a reminder that we don’t have to become someone else to be worthy. We simply have to show up as we are.
Grateful for sunshine. Grateful for my feathered friends. Grateful for the reminder that being different is actually the greatest gift.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
