Evening Reflections
Blessed…
Tonight, at Oxford Basin, the sky didn’t just fade… it lingered. Soft gold melted into quiet blues, like the day wasn’t quite ready to say goodbye.
The water held every color like a memory, gently rippling it back into the world. And right in the middle of it all, one little duck came racing by — determined, focused, completely in its own moment. No hesitation. No looking back. Just moving forward through a sky painted on water.
There’s something about that kind of presence that stays with you.
And then, as if the evening whispered it straight into my heart: “May today be one of those days you are reminded how truly blessed you are…”
Not because everything was perfect.
But because I showed up.
Because the sky showed off.
Because even a single little duck can remind you… this moment is enough.
Grateful for today. Always.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
