Evening Reflections
Being You Is Your Superpower…
Tonight’s sunset in Venice was one of those evenings that made me want to stay until the very last bit of color disappeared.
The waves were big and powerful, crashing into the shore while the surfers were having the best time catching one after another. There was something so freeing about watching them out there, completely in the moment, letting the ocean carry them wherever it wanted to go.
Pelicans glided effortlessly over the water, barely skimming above the waves. In the distance, the flag was flying and a ship rested on the horizon, all beneath a sky that kept changing from gold and orange to the most beautiful shades of pink and red.
And tonight’s little reminder felt perfect:
“Being you is your superpower!”
There is so much freedom in simply being who you are. No comparing. No trying to fit into someone else’s idea of who you should be. Just showing up as yourself and allowing your own light to shine.
The ocean has its waves. The pelicans have their wings. The surfers have their rhythm. And each of us has something uniquely ours, too.
Grateful for the crashing waves, the surfers, the pelicans, the changing sky, and another beautiful day that ended with a little reminder to always be yourself.
Grateful. Always.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
