Morning Reflections

Beauty Has a Way of Finding Me…

Some mornings arrive wrapped in gray clouds, but I’ve learned that beauty doesn’t wait for sunshine. It has a way of finding me anyway.

The moment I reached the pier, Honey Girl flew in with her usual excitement, eager for peanuts. Her joy is impossible to ignore. It reminds me that happiness can be found in the smallest moments if we’re willing to notice them.

The pigeons came soaring toward me, wings fluttering with excitement, and once again they made me smile. That feeling never gets old. It’s one of the greatest gifts of my mornings.

High above it all, Adonis was enjoying his breakfast, calm and watchful as always. Watching him perched against the soft gray sky felt like another quiet reminder to slow down and appreciate the present.

As I was leaving, I passed Davide painting another beautiful scene. While nature was creating its own masterpiece, he was creating one of his own. It felt like the perfect ending to the morning.

Today’s little quote stayed with me:

“You are always one decision away from a totally different life.”

Maybe today’s decision is simply to look for beauty, even on the grayest mornings.

Today, beauty found me.

Grateful. 🤍

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
