Morning Reflections
A New Month Takes Flight…
The first morning of July arrived wrapped in soft gray clouds, but the birds reminded me that beauty isn’t measured by the color of the sky. Sometimes it’s measured by the joy that flies straight toward you.
As soon as I reached the pier, they came from every direction, landing on my arm, taking off, circling back, and landing again. Their excitement is impossible not to catch. Joy really is contagious.
Honey Girl made her usual surprise entrance from behind, determined to claim every peanut for herself. Sharing has never been her favorite thing, and it always makes me smile. Up above, Adonis sat proudly in his own special spot, quietly watching over the morning like he always does.
Standing there surrounded by wings, waves, and familiar feathered friends, I couldn’t help but feel hopeful. A new month brings new opportunities, new lessons, and new memories waiting to unfold.
I’m grateful for these simple moments and grateful to begin the second half of the year with a heart full of hope.
Happy July. 💛
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
