Evening Reflections
Back Home on the Canals…
Tonight felt like a deep exhale.
The Venice Canals were glowing in soft sunset colors while flowers bloomed in every direction, spilling over the walkways like nature was celebrating spring all on its own. The reflections on the water looked like brushstrokes painted by the evening sky.
A tiny hummingbird stopped by for a moment as if to say welcome home, and a little duck waddled peacefully down the pathway, completely unbothered, simply enjoying the view. Those small moments always remind me that life doesn’t have to be rushed to be meaningful.
One of my favorite moments tonight was holding up one of my little messages that read:
“You were put on this planet for a reason.”
Sometimes we all need that reminder.
After being away, it felt so good to return to my familiar sunsets, quiet reflections, blooming flowers, and peaceful walks beside the water. Home has a way of stitching tiny pieces of your spirit back together again.
Grateful for this evening. Grateful to be back.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
