Morning Reflections

Arrive There…

There are mornings when the world feels like it is already waiting for you. Today was one of those mornings on the pier. The sky was wide and soft with wispy clouds, the ocean calm and shining, and before I even reached the middle of the walk, the birds were already flying toward me. It always amazes me how they know. Domino came in full force, wings wide and confident, while Honey Girl was extra excited. I didn’t see her yesterday, so today felt like a reunion full of joy. Pegleg was there to greet me like always, steady and loyal, and Ebony made sure to land right on top of my phone, his favorite perch.

Moments like this feel like being welcomed home. As I stood there surrounded by wings and morning light, ladybugs kept landing on me. Tiny, bright reminders that luck can be gentle and quiet. It felt like the universe was tapping me on the shoulder saying, pay attention… this is special.

I held up my message today that read: "There are people waiting to meet you. People waiting to love you. There are places that stand still until you’ve stepped foot in them. Something really beautiful could happen for you in the morning. There is so much waiting for your arrival. Arrive there."

And that’s exactly what this morning felt like. Not chasing anything. Not rushing. Just arriving fully in the moment and letting beauty meet me where I am.

Every day the birds remind me of something simple: joy shows up when you do. And I’m so grateful I keep showing up.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.

When you arrive with an open heart, the world meets you halfway.
