Morning Reflections
Another Chance Today…
This morning reminded me that happiness doesn’t have to be complicated.
The sunrise slowly climbed above the horizon, filling the sky with golden light. As I watched the beach wake up, a Doberman came racing down the shoreline with pure excitement. No destination. No worries. Just the simple joy of running through the waves. It made me smile and reminded me how beautiful life can be when we let ourselves enjoy the little things.
I held up today’s quote:
“Every sunrise whispers, ‘You get another chance today.’”
I don’t think there could have been a more perfect message for this morning.
When I reached the beginning of the Venice Pier, my feathered friends were already waiting. They were lined up on the railing like a welcoming committee, patiently waiting for breakfast. Seeing them every morning never gets old.
Then Clubbie came over to say hello. She always makes me smile. It’s amazing how these little friendships have become such an important part of my life.
Before leaving, I looked up and saw Adonis in his usual spot, watching over everything from above. Somehow seeing him there always makes the morning feel complete.
It’s funny how the moments that mean the most are often the simplest. A sunrise. Happy paws in the sand. Birds waiting on the railing. Familiar faces. Gentle waves.
Those are the moments that remind me how grateful I am to call this place home.
Every sunrise really does bring another chance.
And I’m so thankful I get to experience it.
